Open Sesame Commercial Automatic Door Opener

Shared doors serve everyone who walks or rolls through them. Open Sesame built its Model 233 for that kind of light commercial use, naming school and restroom doors, lobbies, storefronts, elevators and lifts, and gates. A push pad or remote starts the cycle: the door opens, pauses, then closes. Pulled open by hand, it closes under power, much like a conventional closer.

Closing speed can be tuned for the situation and for wind through a variable clutch (a constant torque slipping disk rated at 15 in-lbs). Opening reaches as far as 120 degrees, with a hold-open time you can set anywhere between 5 and 30 seconds. If the power goes out, an internal battery takes over. The powder coated steel housing is 2 5/8 x 4 x 14 1/8 in and weighs 10 lb. Inward-opening doors take a door mount; outward-opening ones take a lintel mount.

For the first three years Open Sesame repairs or replaces factory supplied components at no charge, then for a capped fee for an additional 10 years; batteries are excluded. We work with a team of credentialed local specialists to guarantee timely, safe, and optimal delivery and installation.
