WheelchairFor outings where a companion does the pushing, Vive's Core Transport Wheelchair keeps things simple: a steel frame, brakes, adjustable footrests and a fold that Vive says takes seconds.
It has a 19 x 16 inch seat and supports up to 250 lbs, while the chair itself weighs 29.5 lbs. Footrests set anywhere from 16 to 20 inches from the seat to suit different leg lengths. Its 8 inch wheels roll indoors and out, wheel locks hold the chair still for transfers, and padded armrests and a quick-release safety belt are fitted. Angled push handles have a textured grip. The backrest and handles fold down to fit most car trunks, and the chair arrives preassembled.
The color is black. Vive covers the frame for 1 year and the handles and wheels for 90 days; cushions, hardware and paint are covered on arrival for 30 days. Register within 30 days of purchase.
