WheelchairAs the needs of someone you care for change, a wheelchair that adjusts with them can save a lot of trouble. Proactive Medical's Chariot III has removable flip-back arms you can raise or lower, plus a seat extension that adds 2 in of depth, from 16 to 18 in.
On its dual axle the seat sits at 19.5 in, or 17.5 in in the hemi position. Widths are 16, 18 and 20 in, holding 300, 300 and 350 lbs. The leg supports are your choice of swing-away footrests with heel loops or elevating leg rests with a pneumatic piston. Anti-tippers are included, the nylon upholstery cleans easily, and Proactive offers a limited 3 year warranty.
