Bathroom SafetyBuilt for bariatric users and anyone needing a higher weight capacity, the Mobi Heavy-Duty Changer is a mobile adult changing table with an extra-wide padded platform. It needs no wall or floor fixing; heavy-duty locking casters let caregivers move it between rooms. Smirthwaite designs it for indoor dry rooms.
The platform is 78.7 in long and 37.8 in wide and travels from 21.7 to 36.2 in, driven by a 12,000N electric actuator from a simple hand control. The stowaway side rails are 41.3 in wide and 6.5 in high with 7.9 in of operating space, and a protective skirt keeps hands away from the lifting mechanism. Casters are 59.1 by 31.5 in apart with 5.9 in of clearance for heavy-duty hoists. The powder-coated steel unit weighs 220 lb, and Smirthwaite recommends a doorway at least 43 in wide.
Two batteries and a separate wall-mounted mains charger come as standard. Smirthwaite's 2-year warranty covers materials and workmanship from when it arrives.
