Bathroom SafetySmirthwaite calls this its entry-level way to bathe someone lying down. The fixed-height stretcher mounts on the wall with no floor attachments, and it is slim enough to sit directly above a bathtub, which suits homes and smaller bathrooms. Between uses it folds away to 9.4 inches wide, or 13.4 with the optional drip tray.
The height does not adjust. Six sizes run from 55.1 to 74.8 inches long, all 25.6 in wide, or 39.4 in with the 5.7-inch safety guard. The wall frame is 26.2 in wide and 3.1 in deep. Maximum user weight is 441 lb, and product weight runs 165 to 176 lb. Each size comes with or without an integrated vinyl headrest, which Smirthwaite says locks at your chosen angle with a paddle lift.
In the box: wall bracket and cover, stretcher frame, fixing kit and side guard rails. It is for indoor use, and drywall or stud walls need a backing board. Smirthwaite gives two years of cover on materials and workmanship from the day it arrives.
