Some seating setups call for a foot support that is not built into the chair. This portable Smirthwaite footrest stands on its own; Smirthwaite lists it as a compatible accessory for its seating and notes it can also be used with a variety of other chairs.
The footboard adjusts in both height and angle. To set it, you loosen the handwheels, two on each side, move the footboard where it is wanted and tighten them again to hold it there. Because it is separate from the seat, it can be moved from room to room or chair to chair as needs change. Product code 4187.
Smirthwaite warrants it against defects in materials and workmanship for 2 years from the date it is delivered. Accident, neglect, misuse and normal wear and tear fall outside that cover.
