Starting the PX4 takes a tap: Pride's NFC key fob, unique to each scooter, starts it when you place it near the receiver on the side of the tiller. Pride built it for outdoor riding, with full suspension and 13 in. pneumatic tires front and rear, and says it is made for asphalt, concrete, gravel and any hard-packed surface.

It is rated for 500 lbs. and up to 23.4 miles per charge on two 75Ah sealed lead-acid batteries, 48.8 lbs. each. Ground clearance is 3.5 inches to the motor and the turning radius is 82.28 in. The high-back seat is 19.2 in. wide by 21.25 in. deep. Choose from nine vinyl accent colors, four of them camo: Satin Aluminum, Dark Violet, Peacock Blue, Sunflower, Red, and White, Black, Jungle or Desert Camo.

With the standard seat and batteries it weighs 351.4 lbs. Warranty: lifetime limited on the frame, 2 years on drivetrain and electronics, 6 months on the battery.
