ScooterFour flat-free tires and a 24-volt motor give the Vive 4 Wheel Mobility Scooter steady footing on carpet, tile and outdoor surfaces, as Vive describes it. A speed dial sets the pace up to 3.7 mph, and reverse helps when backing out of elevators and hallways.
It supports 265 lbs. and weighs 88.2 lbs. Taken apart into four pieces, the heaviest is the 29 lb. rear base, and Vive says assembly needs no tools. Overall it measures 38 by 19.5 by 33 in. The swivel seat is 17 by 15 in. and adjusts from 18.5 to 21.5 in. high. Ground clearance is 1.57 in., and Vive notes it will not clear 2 in. doorsteps.
Included are the battery, charger, front tiller basket, LED headlight and horn. Colors are blue, black, silver, pink and red. Vive's warranty covers the frame for 5 years and electrical parts, batteries and controller for 6 months; register within 30 days.
