For someone who spends much of the day lying down, heels carry a lot of the load. This Protekt boot lifts that load off, holding the heel in open air inside the boot.
You will find gel, water-based, tucked against the lower ankle, plus padding along both sides. What touches the leg is a gentle brushed fabric, and because the fastening bands are sewn on, no hook-and-loop rubs against bare skin.
Three sizes are offered: small, medium, large. Toss it in the washer when needed; it meets fire rating CA 117.
