For drivers who need to work the gas with the left foot, the MPS Left Foot Accelerator adds a pedal to the left of the brake. It is mechanically linked to the vehicle's original accelerator, and a Pedal Guard shields that original pedal so it is not used.
A Quick Release base means the pedal can come off when other drivers in the household take the wheel. MPS says the device is made in the USA, and that in most cases a qualified mobility professional can move it over to a new vehicle.
MPS backs it with the 5 year limited warranty that covers all its products. Before driving with this or any driving aid, MPS says an evaluation by a Certified Driver Rehabilitation Specialist (CDRS) is essential, and the CDRS or DRS determines from the results what adaptive equipment is needed. We work with a team of credentialed local specialists to guarantee timely, safe, and optimal delivery and installation.
