If the staircase at home is on the narrow side, the Pinnacle SL300 is worth a close look. Folded, it sits 11 in from the wall, and the rail mounts 1 in from the wall and stands 3 in tall to stay out of sight.
It carries 300 lb at 20 FPM on a standard 15 ft 6 in track that extends up to 36 ft, on inclines of 27° to 52°; inclines above 45° may need local approval. The seat is 16 1/2 x 15 in. Its nylon polymer gear rack needs no grease or lubrication, so there is no mess for you or your pets, and batteries allow up to 60 trips during a power outage. With the optional folding rail the folded width is 13 5/8 in. Rated residential.
Parts are warranted for 2 years from retail purchase, the gear rack for 10 years and supplied batteries for 1 year; labor, outdoor installs and commercial installs are not covered.
