Some riders need more capacity than a standard stairlift offers. Harmar's Pinnacle SL600HD is a heavy-duty straight model that lifts up to 600 lb, with a high-backed, extra wide chair, stationary armrests and a reinforced footrest that Harmar says give stability for rides and transfers.
The seat is 18 3/4 in wide by 14 in deep and the back 16 1/2 by 17 1/2 in. At the upper landing the seat swivels 85° for dismount or transfer. Track runs from 15 ft 6 in to 40 ft on inclines of 27° to 48°, and inclines above 45° may need local approval. A helical worm gear on a nylon polymer gear rack moves it at 14 FPM, and it folds to 16 1/2 in from the wall. Rated commercial and residential; not for outdoor use.
