Vehicle Lift

Heavier mid-wheel drive power chairs need more lifting power, and the AL580-HDX is Harmar's high capacity hitch-mount lift for them. It is made for mid-wheel drive power wheelchairs with 14 in drive wheels and fits a variety of SUVs, trucks and crossovers.

Capacity is 450 lb. The platform gives 27 in of usable width on a 23 x 33 in footprint, and the lift weighs 92 lb installed. Four Q'Straint retractors, a padded hold-down arm and wheel cradles all work to secure the chair. A Class III or greater hitch is required, and lifting and folding are powered. Options include a battery pack, wheelchair cover, license plate riser and swing-away.

Harmar asks that your car's compatibility be confirmed before the lift is ordered; the fit check on this page asks about your vehicle, and Harmar's compatibility calculator is linked beside it. The 3-year parts warranty transfers when the Compatibility Calculator approves the application. We work with a team of credentialed local specialists to guarantee timely, safe, and optimal delivery and installation.
