In Vive's words, it handles grass, gravel, pavement, carpet and other firm surfaces (Vive Health). Out back are 15.7-inch tires and up front 7.5-inch ones, with 4 inches of clearance (Vive Health). Vive also warns that it is not meant for bad weather (Vive Health), so plan rainy days around that.

Vive rates it for 220 lbs, with a 4 mph top speed and as much as 12 miles from its 24-volt, 10 Ah battery (Vive Health). You charge it through the port on the joystick, using the 3-pin cable that comes with it (Vive Health).
Seat and controls
You sit 20.5 inches up on a padded 16 by 18-inch seat with an adjustable safety belt (Vive Health). A 360-degree joystick, which can go on either armrest, carries the speed controls, a horn and a USB charging port (Vive Health).
