Helping you or someone you care for get through the day in shoes, despite a toe that curls or crosses over its neighbor, is the reason Vive makes this splint. Think of it as a cushion and a strap working together.
Under the forefoot rests a doubled layer of foam. From it, an elastic band reaches up and circles one toe; tug the loose end to snug it, then loosen it to take it off. Toes measuring anywhere between 1 in and 3.5 in around can be fitted, on whichever foot needs it.
Two splints, a matched pair, are packed together. Start slowly, Vive says: a couple of hours daily at first, building over time toward 5-6. Warm, soapy water by hand keeps them clean.
