For a foam mattress, this cover adds soft raised edges along both sides. It helps the person in bed feel where the mattress ends, without a new mattress.
Choose 36, 42 or 48 in wide; all three are 80 in long. A 15 in opening at the middle of each side keeps getting up and lying down easy.
Washing is straightforward: unzip the foam compartments, remove the foam, then launder the cover. The nylon top is fluid resistant and vapor permeable. Proactive gives it a 2 year non-prorated warranty and says it fits practically all makers' mattresses.
