Pride Revo 2.0 4-wheel: a compact 400 lb scooter for grass and gravel

Now on our shelf: the Pride Revo 2.0 4-wheel, model S67. Pride calls it "deceivingly compact" given its 400 lb capacity, and lists grass, gravel and carpet among the surfaces it is built for (Pride Mobility: Revo 2.0 4-Wheel).

Who it suits

This is a scooter for someone whose everyday route mixes indoor floors with lawns, gravel driveways and park paths. Pride's answer to that mix is suspension at both ends, which it calls Comfort-Trac, plus tires that cannot go flat. Four wheels give a wider stance than the three-wheel Revo, at the cost of a bigger turning radius: 52 inches against 40.

It still travels. The Revo 2.0 4-wheel breaks down into five main pieces, and the heaviest, the front section, is 57 lbs. That is a solid lift, so make sure whoever loads it is comfortable with that weight.

Key specs

Figures from Pride Mobility's specification sheet:

  • Model number: S67
  • Maximum weight capacity: 400 lbs.
  • Maximum speed: up to 5.2 mph
  • Range per charge: up to 17.8 miles (200 lbs.); up to 14.8 miles (400 lbs.)
  • Turning radius: 52"
  • Length: 47"
  • Width (base, not including seat): 20.75"
  • Weight without batteries: 132 lbs.
  • Weight with batteries: 182 lbs.
  • Heaviest piece: 57 lbs. (front section)
  • Batteries: (2) U1, 25 lbs. each
  • Suspension: front and rear

Range and batteries

Two U1 batteries power it, each 25 lbs. Pride lists up to 17.8 miles per charge with a 200 lb rider and up to 14.8 miles at 400 lbs, with top speed up to 5.2 mph. Charging is off-board at 3.5A.

Seat and standard features

The seat folds, measures 20 inches wide by 18 deep and sits 22 to 23.5 inches above the ground. Pride fits a front basket, an LED headlight and a rear bumper as standard. With a 20.75-inch base and a 47-inch overall length, the scooter weighs 182 lbs with batteries.

Before you order, measure your doorways and the tightest turn at home. If 52 inches of turning room is hard to find indoors, the three-wheel Revo 2.0 may be the better fit.

It comes in Grey Street or True Blue. A rear bumper may not sound exciting, but it is a welcome guard when you back up toward a wall or a car.

Before you order

  • Lift test: the front section is 57 lbs and each battery 25 lbs.
  • Turning check: measure the tightest turn at home against the 52-inch radius.
  • Routes: think about the grass, gravel and carpet you ride on and where the scooter will be charged.
  • Range check: use the figure closest to your own weight.

Before you choose, our fit assessment asks about your home, your car and your usual trips, and the shipping by state page explains delivery to the lower 48 states and DC.

Pride lists these terms on its testing standards and warranty page (Pride warranty for the Revo 2.0 4-Wheel):
