Golden Relaxer with MaxiComfort: a three-pillow back

The AutoDrive 3.0 hand control comes standard. Golden also lists an extra pocket and its SmartTek diagnostic system (Golden Technologies, sell sheet), and gives the place of origin as the USA (Golden Technologies).

How it compares

The Comforter with MaxiComfort is also a two-zone MaxiComfort chair, but it comes in six sizes with capacity up to 600 lbs on the Large Wide (Golden Technologies). The Relaxer keeps to three sizes at 400 lbs and is the one to choose for the soft three-pillow back.

Seat depth runs 19.5 inches on the Small, 20.5 on the Medium and 22.5 on the Large, and seat height from 19.5 to 22 inches. Overall width is 34, 36 or 38.5 inches. Reclined, allow 21 inches from the wall for the Small and 26 or 27 inches for the Medium and Large (Golden Technologies).

• Electrical parts, years 4 to 7: pro-rated discount (35% down to 5%)
• Labor on electrical parts: subsidized for one year
• Original purchaser, residential use only, proof of purchase required
• Claims go through the selling retailer and need Golden approval
