Vive Health843 OA Knee Brace Replacement Pads Set, RightGolden lift chair accessories: fan, light, speaker and more
A lift chair often becomes the place where someone reads, watches television, keeps in touch with family and rests for much of the day. Golden Technologies makes a small set of optional add-ons for some of its lift chairs so the things a person reaches for can live at the chair instead of across the room. Seven of them are now on our shelf, and this post covers all seven in one place.
Which chairs they are for
Golden lists these seven pieces as optional accessories on its pages for three chairs: the Cloud+ with MaxiComfort, the Cloud+ Luxe with Twilight and the Rhea with Twilight. All three pages describe a power port at the chair where you can plug in accessories. Golden's Cloud+ accessories sheet shows the same seven pieces as optional accessories for the Cloud+.
We carry all three of those chairs: the Golden Cloud+ with MaxiComfort Lift Chair (4-Zone), the Golden Cloud+ Luxe with Twilight Lift Chair and the Golden Rhea with Twilight Lift Chair (5-Zone). If you already own a Golden chair and are not sure whether it takes these accessories, email info@faithmobility.com with the model name from the chair's label and we will check it with you before you order.
The seven accessories
For comfort
- Golden Cooling Fan: a small fan that mounts at the chair, for warm afternoons in the recliner.
- Golden Essential Oil Diffuser: an essential oil diffuser that sits at the chair, for someone who likes a favorite scent close by while resting.
For reading and screens
- Golden Flex Light: a flexible light for reading or close tasks, so there is no need to reach for a lamp.
- Golden Tablet Holder & Charger: holds a tablet at the chair and keeps it charging, for reading, video calls or a show without holding the tablet up.
For sound, snacks and drinks
- Golden Bluetooth Speaker: puts music, audiobooks or other sound next to the person in the chair.
- Golden Illuminated Multicolored Bowl: a bowl that lights up in changing colors, for snacks, a remote or reading glasses within reach.
- Golden Stem Glass Holder: a holder shaped for a stemmed glass, so a drink does not have to balance on the armrest.
Golden's Cloud+ page calls the bowl the "Illuminating Snack Bowl"; we list it under the name on our product page (Golden Technologies).
What comes with the chairs already
Before adding extras, check what the chair includes. On the Cloud+, Golden lists a removable tray table, an LED reading light, a drink holder and storage, a USB charging port and a wireless phone charger as standard features (Golden Technologies). The Cloud+ Luxe page describes a wireless phone charger and a power port that works with the included LED reading light and butler tray (Golden Technologies). The Rhea with Twilight page lists a power port with an LED reading light, a cup holder, two storage compartments and a USB port (Golden Technologies). So a reading light is already at the chair; the Flex Light is an extra for someone who wants a second, bendable light.
Choosing for someone else
These make thoughtful gifts for a parent or spouse who has just moved into a lift chair. Think about how the day actually goes in that chair. Someone who video calls the grandchildren may get the most from the tablet holder. Someone who naps in the afternoon sun may want the fan. Someone who listens to the radio or audiobooks may want the speaker. Start with one or two that match real habits rather than all seven.
Specifications and warranty
Golden does not publish dimensions, power details or separate warranty terms for these accessories on the pages we used, so we do not list any here. If you need a detail before you buy, email info@faithmobility.com and we will ask on your behalf.
