Golden Dione with MaxiComfort: faux leather, four zones

The Dione belongs to Golden's DeLuna series: a lift recliner upholstered in faux leather, with MaxiComfort positioning. Its four-zone system puts the emphasis on head and neck support, with an adjustable lumbar and headrest run from a programmable AutoDrive hand control (Golden Technologies, sell sheet).

Who it suits

Medium and Large are both rated for 400 lbs (Golden Technologies). The upholstery is Golden's Sutton faux leather, 100% polyester, which Golden describes as easy to care for (Golden Technologies, sell sheet). That makes it a practical choice where spills are likely.

Features worth knowing

A USB charging port sits on the outside arm, and a lithium-ion battery backup is standard (Golden Technologies, sell sheet). Golden gives the place of origin as imported (Golden Technologies).

How it compares

The Rhea with MaxiComfort is the Dione's closest relative: also four zones, also Medium and Large, also 400 lbs. The Rhea adds HeatWave warmth as standard and a roomier Large with a 24-inch seat, but needs more room to recline, 25 or 30 inches from the wall (Golden Technologies). The Dione is the choice for faux leather and a smaller footprint.
