The Golden Ally Sport (model GP305) folds itself. Power folding comes standard, as does Golden's Smart Control mobile app (Golden Technologies). Golden describes it as a luxury folding chair meant for full-time use (Golden Technologies), and it carries lights on the sides and back so others can see you (Golden Technologies).
Power folding spares your hands and back the work of collapsing the frame. It does not make the chair any lighter: assembled, it is 92 lbs (Golden Technologies). If it will ride in a car, decide in advance how it gets lifted in, by a person or by a vehicle lift.
Capacity and range
Golden's figures are a 265 lb rating, a 4 mph top speed and as much as 9.5 miles from a 5 lb, 10 Ah lithium-ion battery (Golden Technologies). Check the rating first: it is lower than the Golden Ally's 330 lbs (Golden Technologies).
