Bruno Elite CRE-2110: a curved stairlift made for your stairs

Not every staircase runs in one straight line. Many turn at a landing, wrap around a corner or bend partway up. For those homes, the Bruno Elite Curved Stairlift CRE-2110 is now on our shelf.

What it is and who it suits

A curved stairlift cannot use a rail off the shelf. Its rail has to follow every bend of one particular staircase. Bruno handcrafts the CRE-2110 rail to the stairs it will serve, and makes the lift in the USA.

That custom rail is the big difference from a straight lift, and it has one practical result: the lift belongs to that staircase. On its stairlifts page, Bruno says it would be "extremely rare" for a curved lift to be taken off one staircase and reinstalled on another. If a move is likely in the next few years, keep that in mind.

The CRE-2110 may suit you if:

  • Your indoor stairs have a bend, a curve or a landing.
  • The rider is within the 400 lb lift capacity.
  • You plan to stay in the home.

Key specs

From Bruno's Elite curved indoor page:

  • Lift capacity: 400 lb
  • Rail: handcrafted, made for your stairs
  • Turn: 90-degree
  • Remote: wireless
  • Controls: single-button operation
  • Safety: obstruction sensor
  • Made in: USA

Options

Bruno lists six options for this lift:

  • Seat color
  • Power footrest, so nobody bends down to fold it
  • Power swivel, which turns the seat toward the landing at the top
  • Larger seat and larger footrest
  • Park position at the top or bottom, which extends the end of the rail away from the stairs

The park position is worth a close look on curved stairs. Parking the seat a little past the first or last step can keep it clear of the stairs themselves, so family members walking up and down have the full width to use.

Warranty

Bruno's warranty for the Elite curved indoor stairlift reads, in short:

  • Major components (motor, gearbox, drivetrain and rail) are covered for life, while the original purchaser owns the stairlift.
  • All parts are covered for 2 years after installation by a Bruno Authorized Dealer.
  • Labor is covered for 30 days after installation, for any warranty defect.
  • Optional equipment is not a major component.
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect how the unit works is excluded.

Delivery and installation

Because the rail is built for one staircase, your stairs have to be measured before it is made. We work with a team of credentialed local specialists to guarantee timely, safe, and optimal delivery and installation.

There is no set price for a curved lift, since no two rails are alike. The fit check on the product page asks about your staircase, the turns and the rider, and gives you the price for your home. Delivery details are on our shipping by state page.
